up here, but it's mostly an act.  The story that went out over the air, was that Michael s was still injured from that beating he

took in Syracuse , and because he Couldn't compete, would have to forfeit the title - In Your House #4 10/22/95

                                                        THE REAL STORY …..

is that Michaels was EASILY in good enough condition To wrestle that night, and had not been getting along with DouglasShawn
had actually intended to wrestle that night, and had told a friend that he'd embarrass Douglas in their match.
Whether by not being cooperative, not selling Douglas' offensive moves, or by some other way making Douglas look stupid on
live PPV, I'm not sure, but when Douglas got word of this, he immediately sent word back that the instant Michaels went
outside of the "script" Douglas would SHOOT on Michaels and legitimately hurt him.  As a result, HBK refused to work the
match because he knew that in a fair fight, he wouldn't be able to beat Shane Douglas.
6.        Dean Douglas Vs. Razor Ramon (And of course, HBK’s buddy Razor pins Douglas to win the IC title)

5.        Bret Hart v. Vader v. Steve Austin v. and The Undertaker (Bret Hart wins a "final four" match to win the WWF Title.

According to many sources, this match was originally supposed to determine the #1 contender for the title at

Wrestlemania. The plan was to have Hart win the match and go on to defeat WWF Champion Shawn Michael s for the

title at Wrestlemania 13.  Shawn Michael s apparently refused to ever do any more jobs to Bret Hart and promptly

vacated the WWF Title before the Final Four PPV.  As a result, the match was declared a title match with the winner

getting the title.  Bret Hart would lose the title the following night to Sid.

hanging from the top of the cage, he takes a fall THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCER'S TABLE!  At the time,

this match was considered one of the best cage matches in history.  The Undertaker's Hell in the Cell match with

Mankind the following year, as well as HHH’s Hell in the cell match with Cactus Jack in 2000 would blow this one

away.   However, it shouldn't take away from what took place here.  Also notable about this match, is that we saw the

debut of KANE!  Kane comes out in an excellent segment that had a direct impact on the end of the match.  Both Jim

Ross and Vince McMahon do a very good job of putting over.  Kane as an absolute monster here)
